What is HBOT?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a treatment where you breathe concentrated oxygen in a pressurized chamber. This helps your lungs absorb more oxygen than normal, which boosts circulation and speeds up your body’s natural healing processes. It’s a safe, non-invasive therapy used to support recovery, reduce inflammation, and improve overall wellness.

BENEFITS

We believe clarity matters, so we've highlighted the key benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy using simple, visual icons. Whether it's faster recovery after physical activity, sharper mental focus, a boost in overall vitality, or support for natural healing, each icon represents a proven advantage of HBOT. These quick visuals help you see at a glance how elevated oxygen can support your health from the inside out.

Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Safe?

YES — Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a safe, medically established treatment when used properly.

Here's how it works:

  • In HBOT, you’re inside a chamber filled with pressurized air, not pure pressurized oxygen.

  • The air pressure is higher than normal — usually about 1.5 to 2.0 times atmospheric pressure — which allows your lungs to absorb much more oxygen naturally.

  • Oxygen is delivered through the increased air pressure, not by forcing high-pressure oxygen directly into your body.
This distinction is important: the therapy gently raises the amount of oxygen in your bloodstream without the risks associated with pure pressurized oxygen.

In short:
The chamber pressurizes air, and you breathe oxygen within that air. Your body's cells simply absorb more oxygen because of the increased pressure, safely and naturally.
